Almost all utilities are included with the rent of the apartment. This is designed to make life a little easier for a Section-8 family. Nonetheless, I am guessing if you are reading this section, you have interests in regards to the utilities. Even though I will cover most of the utilities, there will be at least one under your responsibility. The utilities are as follows:
- Electricity
- Internet
- Telephone
- Trash
- Water/Sewage
There will be no gas line. Gas service will be capped, and will not be an option even if you are willing to pay for it. Gas is used for three things only (cooking, heating, hot water) – all three can also be done with electricity. You need electricity anyways, but as you can see, you don’t need gas. With that in mind, the building does not have the infrastructure for a gas service. There are no gas lines running in the walls.
