Electricity

Electricity will be provided by Duquesne Electric Company, and solar panels on the roof. Each apartment unit has at least 1 battery bank reserved for them. The solar panels fills up the battery bank, and then feeds the unit throughout the night. This is actually to your benefit. Since the battery bank is feeding your unit electricity, there is less of a chance of surges and spikes. This helps protect your valuable electrical components. Also, with a battery bank, you can still have electricity in a power outage. So while the building next to you has no electricity, your refrigerator is still running, and you are able to enjoy your choice entertainment.

Electricity is included with the rent. However, you would have some rules. All of your light bulbs must be LED bulbs. An incandescent bulbs uses 100 watts per hour of operation, and much of that is wasted to heat. An LED bulb uses 5-10 watts, and produces no heat. In addition, with exceptions to the bathrooms, lavatories, and kitchens, all lights are using wall sconces that has the same color as the walls. This should help them not stick out, and be relatively simple to replace. If your lightbulb dies in the bathroom, lavatory, or kitchen, you can call maintenance who will come and replace the light. These rooms do not have windows, and will require a ladder to change the bulbs. You are required to provide the LED bulb.

You may have to adjust to the electric cooktop if you never used an electrical one, but this learning curve should be relatively quick. 400° temperature for the oven is the same whether electric, or gas. Therefore, you follow instructions as normal.
