Control Panel

The control panel will be located close to the entry door. This control panel will allow the administrator to make changes to the system, and the unit. They can use the control panel to control how slider switches will work. They can also see the status of lights in other rooms, and turn them off if needed. The administrator will also be able to see their electrical usage, even though they do not pay electricity. Temperature control will also be managed here. Since the temperature control is for the entire unit, there will be no need for additional thermostats.

The control panel will show live feeds of any cameras they have access to. This will include the camera pointing to an apartment door. There are also cameras in the communal spaces of the unit including the great room, kitchen, halls, and office. Bedrooms, lavatories, and bathrooms will not have cameras.

The control panel can also add, or delete certain key cards. One will just select Add Card, name the card, and set any restrictions. You can go to the realty office, and get a key card printed for you at a cost of $25. You can also acquire your own key cards, so if you find a cheaper solution, you can use that instead.
